Christina Milian Joins NBCs The Voice As Social Media Correspondent

EXCLUSIVE: Singer-actress Christina Milian (Its About Time) has been named as the new Social Media Correspondent for the second season of NBCs singing competition The Voice. She replaces Alison Haislip. Christina’s extensive musical background and widespread recognition make herthe perfectchoicefor the role ofSocial Media Correspondent onThe Voice, said NBC’s president of alternative programming Paul Telegdy. “Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition.” The Voice, hosted by Carson Daly and starring musical coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, is getting a big Season 2 launch after the Super Bowl on Feb. 5 and will air Mondays 8-10 PM. Milian was most recently seen in the TV movieThe Christmas Cupid and in a guest stint on CSI. She also recurs as the voice of Esther onFamily Guy.
